If you are only going to run slow, keep the VTS down as you will have the most steering control. Somewhere in the middle will give you a decent ride and decent speed and still have good steering control of the ski if you slow down. Out of the hole, VTS all the way down, as speed increases begin to raise the VTS. Personally, I don't like the iS skis, others love them. If you get the chance to ride a non-iS ski you should as this will show you the substantial difference from the same ski without the iS option. 2011 and up this issue has been corrected. The early models had a design flaw that actually aided in the ski sinking. How easy is it to capsize? At one point I was still in the water and a small wave approached the jet ski and a lot of water came into the side and I felt the whole thing moving to the side.Īll iS ski's are more top-heavy than a non-iS ski. This will remove contaminants from sitting in your oil all winter season long. That said, you will not likely reach 50 hours your first season, so, change the oil and winterize at the end of each season. Some were 10, some were 25, most do the first service at 50. Why is this?ĥ0 hours is the norm for most all skis. For models below 2014 a service is needed after 25 hours. The service book says I need the initial service after 50 hours for models 2014 and above.

Plus, the GTX is the "Caddy" and as such, it will get the goodies pretty much standard where other skis it is an "option" which helps to keep the base prices down a bit. Why is this only on the limited model? Also, how accurate is it? This model comes with a time/distance until fuel is empty. These are all the questions I have for now but I am sure I will think of more as I use my jet ski. Is it as simple as that? On what situation would I want to use it in the down position or in the fully up position? It also says there are some "VTS PRE-SETS". In waves I should have it slightly up and on flat I should have it in the middle position.

It makes me worry about bigger waves or turning corners at speed. My experience is limited and my total time on a jet ski is 1 hour so this is probably a dumb question but how easy is it to capsize? At one point I was still in the water and a small wave approached the jet ski and a lot of water came into the side and I felt the whole thing moving to the side. Why is this? Has the engine changed dramatically for the 20 model? My Sea Doo Dealer says I should come after 25 hours but according to the book it isnt necessary.

#GREENHULK SEADOO VTS PLAY SOFTWARE#
Is it very expensive or complicated to implant or is it simply just a software update? Also, how accurate is it? Why is this only on the limited model? To me that seems like a standard feature that should be on all Jet Skis. I have some questions regarding the jet ski. It seems like a nice jet ski but I cannot really compare as I haven't been on another one.

I have only been out on it once so far for around an hour. I am first time jet ski owner and decided to go for a new 2015 GTX Limited IS 260.
